Rules and Policies
Grading Policies, Scale, and Quality Work Guidelines (click below)
- Rules (created together during the first week of school-pictured above)
- To reinforce positive behavior and keep the students on track, I will be using proactive teacher language. In addition, students will earn Dojo points for positive behaviors. As a class, we will celebrate positive behaviors with cheers and special privileges.
- Reminding and redirecting language will be used to help students follow the rules. Logical consequences will be used if behavior continues to go off track. Students will receive negative Dojo points if with reminders and redirects negative behaviors continue.
- Serious misbehavior will be referred to the principal.
- Students will receive a weekly conduct grade. This can be viewed in Option C. If they receive lower than an E, a comment will be attached to explain.

Below is a link to getting on Option C to see your child's academic and conduct grades.
Here are some helpful tips for finding what grades you are looking for....
1. Log in with your username and password
2. Click on the students tab at the top and then click assignments
3. Once there, change the quarter if needed. The quarter field is on the right and is blue.
4. Once in the correct quarter, put Conduct or whichever Academic subject your are looking for in the search box.
5. All conduct grades should show up as well as any comments I made. Academic grades may not have any comments and are input towards the end of the week for the prior week.
